“I would like to thank you and the folks at Alternative Heat for making and carrying such a great quality pellet…We had taken such quality for granted until this year. This fall I thought I would take advantage of free delivery by buying a ton of pellets from a local lumber company, (who carried a different brand name.) BIG MISTAKE!!! There was no comparison to the clean burn that we had grown accustomed to…Theirs created twice the ash and required me to take a hammer and chisel to the firepot to get the clinkers/dirt off…After a few frustrating weeks of trying all kinds of things with the stove, we finally figured out it was not the stove, it was the pellets! …SO, I “unpiled” all of the newly acquired pellets..and started to burn yours again. All our problems went away…I hope I never have to buy a different brand ever again…I realize that every tree is different, and that it is impossible to manufacture a perfect product. But, clearly you are doing “something” better than the other guys, and we appreciate it very much.”
“This year we managed to get your product, Premium Wood Pellets from our supplier here in town, Turnpike Acres in Ludlow, Mass. We used them several years ago and tried to get them ever since, but could not. This year, we did and quite frankly, from your competitor’s products vs. yours, we do see a difference in the amount of heat and ash. I hope that in the upcoming years, we will be able to get you product…Though we are only a small user of about 3 pallets a season, getting the word out to other consumers on your product that is top shelf, quality product should bring sales in this area. “…In this day of sloppy workmanship, poor quality of product and complete lack of any regard for customer service or satisfaction, it is refreshing to know that there are still people out there who strive to a higher goal…My son and I bought our pellet stoves many years ago at the Keene Home Show…In the past I have tried other brands of pellets- from Canada, the Northwest, and even from the south. However, I was never satisfied with the quality and consistency so I now buy only pellets from New England Wood Pellet. Although we are not huge consumers we usually buy in that 11-15 tons and are always confident that the quality is always the same- the BEST!!
